I’m looking at an electric violin, mostly because I live in a condo and need an instrument that won’t earn me dirty looks and noise complaints. I love the sound of an acoustic, so that’s really where my heart is. I’ve been doing a lot of research, emailing with Kennedy Violins (they are very responsive and helpful), watching videos etc. This review gave me more information than most of them (with the exception of the person who’s been helping me from Kennedy Violins). I appreciate the in-depth look at this instrument. $300 is terrible, but it’s a lot of money for me and I want to know that I’m purchasing a quality product that will meet my needs.
